The Correlation Hepatitis and drug Use Initiative developed a serie of hepatitis C trainings for health, harm reduction and peer worker of harm reduction and health services, build upon newest insights in order to enhance the skills of workers to implement and conduct a Treatment Readiness/Support Intervention designed to motivate people who use drugs to seek HCV testing; and to initiate and remain connected to treatment.

Local trainings are developed and adapted to the local situation together with the organisation in charge. An integral part of the training is the discussion and the development of action plans and interventions in order to improve hepatitis C prevention and care in the facility and beyond.

After the training, the participating organisations receive a report with recommendations for further actions. Correlation offers support to organisers also after the training is finalised. An evaluation and feedback of participants and a post evaluation after 3 months is an integral part of the intervention.

If you/your organisation is interested to organise such a training, please contact us for further information.
